The Last Carol Service of our Benefice for 2016 and the Debut of a New Choir

Tonight was the final of our three carol services for the benefice. St Mary’s hosted the carol service which had another fantastic talk from Vicar Ben and some great carols. A special well done goes to young Jacob who wowed the audience with his opening of Once in Royal David’s City.

Tonight also saw the debut of the St Mary’s choir who sang through all the carols and performed a rendition of the Sussex Carol for the audience. Hopefully the first of many performances for the choir – fancy joining us? You’ll be more than welcome.

The service finished with mulled wine and mince pies and lots of social chatter.

Thanks to everyone who has supported the carol services within the benefice. If you came to one of the services and haven’t been before but think you’d like to come back, please come and visit us – we’d love to see you and welcome you into our special community.
