However, if we are completely honest and reflective, as humans (and as Christians) it can sometimes be a challenge to accept everyone from different walks of life, especially those who are drastically different to us – however, we are all God’s children and if you cannot be accepted into the church, where can you be accepted?
Just thought this post may stir some thoughts and reflection.
It is not easy to be as welcoming as that. I try to be but know there are some that I would prefer not to bring into my home. I shall have to be more open to all people this year.
I agree, Shirley. I must admit, it certainly did make me think and reflect on my personal opinions and attitudes when I saw this photo. I think most people would find something quite challenging within the list.
It’s definitely something to aim for. Jesus welcomes everyone 🙂
I think you’re 100% right Ali! 🙂 It’s a really positive message by Coventry Cathedral – everyone should be welcome to experience the love and forgiveness of Christ.
