I love this poem and recently read it at the poetry group to which I belong.
Trees are amazing in so many ways including the exercise I am provided with when the three huge oaks behind my house shed their leaves! As I sweep I remember the developing buds that will open into life in the spring. God gives that life and I give thanks for it. -

I was looking through my mum’s bookshelf and found this poem in a poetry book that my dad had given my mum. I thought it was rather lovely so I’m glad you both enjoyed it.
