This Sunday at the 10.30 all-age service at St Mary’s we’ll be hearing stories of smuggling nuns in barrels, dodging spies, wearing amazing disguises, hiding contraband bibles in carpets and how a handful of (let’s be honest, grumpy-looking) nerds changed a continent…by studying!
2017 is the 500th anniversary of when Martin Luther nailed his 95 questions to the medieval church to a door and, by doing so, started the modern era. This was the Reformation! And if you’re thinking, ‘what did the Reformation ever do for us?’ come and be surprised. All the usual fun of great music, fantastic community and refreshments too. Come and enjoy yourself and be inspired, whatever your age.
