Make sure you don’t miss out on some great events taking place this weekend, such as:

Church@4 on Sunday at…4pm at St Mary’s Bransgore. An informal church service with a sandwich tea and a sports quiz! There are a wide range of questions and challenges to include people like me who know nothing about the last nine decades of Charlton Athletic (that’s a football team, right?). Some of the rounds are about observing sporting footage and spotting what happens. Anyway, as the great sporting legend Lance Armstrong says, ‘winning isn’t everything!’ Come along, have a great time and find out a little bit more about what it means to run the race of being a Christian.

hinton_admiral_gardens_originalThe Hinton Admiral Open Gardens, Saturday and Sunday, 11am-5.30pm, entrance £7 per adult (proceeds going to charity). This is such a great activity for all ages! The gardens are stunning and endlessly interesting. There are great refreshments available and the chance to buy some plants, should you be inspired. The entrance to the gardens is on the A35, just past the Cat and Fiddle junction on the way out of Christchurch towards Lyndhurst. St Michael’s Church helps to run this event and you can visit us as part of the open gardens, even having a go on our church bells!

On Sunday morning at 9.15 at St Michael’s Hinton and 10.30 at St Mary’s Bransgore, we’ll be starting our new talk series called ‘Is it reasonable…’, thinking about the question, ‘is it reasonable to believe that Jesus lived, died and rose again?’ Come and find out.
