Is there a better way to spend a Sunday than going to a great church service and having a bring and share lunch together afterwards, followed with everyone decanting to the swimming pool in Ringwood (that has been booked privately) for an hour’s swim? The only thing that could possibly make such a Sunday even better would be to raise money for charity at the same time. And that is precisely what happened today.
A massive thank you to the Hulbert family who booked the pool and organised the bring and share lunch for after the service. It was a wonderful time and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Most importantly, it raised money for a great charity called Mercy Ships. Mercy Ships help people in less fortunate circumstances in Africa who struggle to to get things such as medical provisions. Even if you did not attend today and would like to make a donation, please contact either a member of the Hulbert family or donate via the Mercy Ships website.
Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a fun day. So far the total raised for Mercy Ships stands at £290!
