Tonight was the St Mary’s carol service in Bransgore. The service began with the Children’s Choir singing the first verse of Once in Royal David’s City. The service was full of classic carols and readings from the Bible, with a great festive and informative talk from the vicar with a strong Christian message.
The highlight of the night was the performances from the Choirs and a solo performance by Kelly Sargent with Ben Sargent accompanying on the piano. The adult choir performed a wonderful rendition of Coventry Carol. The Children’s Choir performed the French carol Il Est Ne Le Divine Enfant…… in French! The children did an amazing job. And a special mention for Jacob Sargent who accompanied the carols with some sterling trumpet playing.
The night was finished off with cakes, mince pies and mulled wine.
The next service is on the 24th at 15.00 – the Interactive Nativity Service. This is a must for Children young and old!
