Should auld acquaintance be forgot…

Happy new year!

Last night the Benefice of Bransgore and Hinton celebrated a Kenyan New Year’s at St Mary’s, Bransgore. The countdown and singing of Auld Lang Syne took place at 21.00 (Kenyan time), allowing for those with children (or those who wanted to go to bed!) to celebrate the New Year with friends and family.

There was plenty of hot-dogs and ice-creams, music and dancing, magic tricks, a paper airplane competition, musical chairs, and lots of fun and camaraderie.

If you’re interested in joining a special and welcoming community and meeting a diverse and eclectic group of people from different backgrounds who come together as Christians, then come along to St Mary’s this weekend for the all-age service at 10.30 – an informal and interactive service, that is very child friendly with a band and refreshments afterwards.
